Behind the Maison Lala Saul, there is a couple passionate about hospitality, art, and stories to tell.
From the cuisine to the journey, from the welcome to the details, every moment here is designed as a unique experience.
Alain and Pascale Tual are a couple passionate about hospitality, sharing, and creativity, married for over ten years. Their professional backgrounds, both rich and complementary, have taught them to listen, understand, and offer much more than just a stay: a true experience.
Alain and Pascale Tual have rich professional backgrounds. Alain spent a significant part of his career supporting people, initially as a service manager for an association dedicated to adults with disabilities, and later in child protection services. Pascale worked in the fields of communication and culture, notably for the city of Deauville and a public institution under the ministries of Ecology and Finance. Together, they bring a unique blend of experience in human care, culture, and communication.
In 2019, they chose to settle in Brittany to fulfill a shared dream: to create vibrant, warm spaces that reflect their image. Their first venture took the form of a small, unique restaurant where cuisine already met art and human connection.
Continuing on, they opened their first charming guesthouse in 2021, which they happily ran for four years. This experience strengthened their desire to offer much more than just accommodation: a true art of living.
The Maison du Capitaine Lala Saul is the culmination of this journey. An even more intimate place, more scenographed, more poetic. A confidential house, inspired by their love for stories, atmospheres, and the simple beauty of things well done.
